Alpharms 15SA Initial findings.

^^ 2 3/4 or 3". #2 or #4 ??

Personally I would start with a good 2 3/4 inch load, I don't think shot size is important. I have had one of our two demo guns operate flawlessly straight out of the box with any load. The second one did need a little breaking in and when we switched to 3 inch she was perfect.

We also found on our second demo gun that there was a little bit of a burr in the chamber where the machined cut for the extractor was, we removed this with a needle file and all was good. You could use a piece of fine emery cloth on you finger to do this. Do not use a dremel, that will void the warranty.

Watch the rubber O-ring in the gas cylinder, if you cut that on reassembly she will only cycle with 3 inch loads. A little oil is also a great help.

Any news on the field strip video? Also can someone tell me how to remove cocking handle?

Thanks happy with it !

We made the videos today, they should be up tomorrow.

To remove the cocking handle, first remove the barrel, push the bolt to the rear with one finger until the cut out in the bolt lines up with the cocking handle and then pull it straight out, these can be very tight.

Mine arrived as well today. Quickly dropped off the front sight and removed the folding stock and installed a vortex red dot I had kicking around. Then ran 2 mags of challanger 7.5 2 3/4 through it. first mag slow and steady second as fas as I could managed the heavy trigger. It performed flawlessly. The controls are stiff but I assume they will work in. Good thing you load mags first because there isn't a quick way to load them. 2 3/4 with that heavy spring is a challenge. Overall due to the price I give it a 6/10. I will see how it grows on me. Good "bang" for the buck. Excellent easy friendly service as always from the crew at Wolverine!!

Yes, we plan on making these a stock item, I do expect some price changes after the next (second) shipment, this is not sold out yet.

perfect, thanks.
not bothered by price change. I just don't like pre-ordering. I like to know it's in stock when I purchase and will receive it within a week or so.
thanks again for the response.

Wait for gen3... lukewarm....6/10..some mags don't work well... controls?trigger?stock? price going up?
I'm tempted but i have little patience for a gun that doesn't run 99% right out of the box!!!

I don't like to remove posts but this is the last warning, I am not looking for second hand opinions based on other reports, I will remove these posts as they contribute nothing. Lets have first hand reports from users please, good or bad I will leave them up.

every gun I have bought I have disassembled and lubricated and smoothed out the bolt action .. But that's also because I buy cheep savage rifles and the bolts are rough.. No reviews will change my mind ..

My coworker picked one of these up from you guys last weekend and although the first couple rounds through the shotgun had some hiccups, once we put some high-powered loads and lets the mags sit loaded overnight she was running like a champ with every load we had all the way down to 7 1/2 target loads.

I ordered spares with my first shipment, sad to say Alpharms forgot to ship them! Email me a photo of your broken catch and your invoice number and I will take one out of one of our demo guns and mail to you. E-mail John@wolverinesupplies.com

can't really ask for any better then that right there..........
you just made up my mind.
I will definitely be making my Turkish shotgun purchase with you guys when you have them in stock.
