Will be taking the 95 Winchester with a buckhorn rear and silver post front.
Might also carry the 146 Husqvarna with its factory irons. Almost D&T'd it this spring but I could not bring myself to do it.
Nope, see the sights just fine, just trying to find out if there are any new bullseye shapes that folks like to use. The 95 was doing 1 1/2" at 95 yds with me at the helm, is that good enough?![]()
I dunno...it's not MOA. Better sell it to me as it's obviously a dud.![]()

Nice shooting! Lotsa guys can't do that with their scoped, bolt actions...
I'd like to get something with my '95 someday. But...
No open sighted rifles for me, for the foreseeable future. Not when the hunting's serious anyways... Too little time in the field and, when I'm out, I'm usually accompanied by two noisy, little 'helpers'.![]()

Hey Man!
Thanks. I much prefer shooting irons to scopes, the optics seem to blur as I like to focus too hard.
Seeings as your noisy little helpers like going along perhaps a small iron sighted carbine would be good for one of them to carry, they must be old enough now.![]()

Hhmmm, may have to re-think my strategies...Perfect for pushing bush!
A few years back a pair of wolves, a beautiful large black and a very pale grey, chased a cow moose and her calf out in front of me... me and the ol' 95 couldn't get it done.![]()
