This in the “carry” model is on my want list. Gorgeous looking gun. Also worth mentioning is the Remington R1 enhancemed, I’ve owned two and they are very accurate.

This is also sound advice. I've had several Norinco 1911's over the year & still have a few. Personally, I've never had a lemon Norinco 1911 yet of all those that I've owned. At the moment I'm especially enamored with the "no made in China markings", plain jane 1911A1 type version. I guess it's because it's so USGI 1911A1-like....

You can usually get into one of the above for around $325'ish. Leaves a lot of room for ammo purchase.![]()

I have one just like that, except I'm not sure about the Made in China part. I also have one with black grips. Like the USGI type one better. Haven't fired either one - yet!
Can't help themselves LOLNever liked the kimbers or sigs due to the external extractor
have lots of 1911s with rails, none have anything mounted on them, look cool, but that's about it.
get the RO
why is there ALWAYS a Norc lover recommend a Norc when someone is asking about a mid or high range pistol?

I just got back from the range. The 1911 always puts a smile on my face.Oh yeah, it shoots great too...
It's their way of trying to convince others (as well as themselves) that their pistol is more than a cheap POS.why is there ALWAYS a Norc lover recommend a Norc when someone is asking about a mid or high range pistol?

Not hate - more like annoyance. Imagine sitting down for steak dinner with your family and suddenly someone comes up to you and starts spouting the benefits of a vegetarian diet. Now imagine that this happens...every time you go out for dinner. That's how the rest of us feel when Norinco owners pipe in with their words of wisdom in every discussion about every imaginable firearm that takes place on this forum. I mean, there’s probably someone in the Blackpowder and Antiques section right now telling folks they should get a Norinco instead.Wonder where all your Norinco 1911 hate comes from?

I'd like a norc commander with no China markings. I have a norc govt and it's been awesome.
Need some advice from my fellow CGN's.
Im going to purchase a 1911 45ACP. Either a Spring Field Range Officer or a Sig. Tac Ops.
I am debating on the bottom accessory rail and if I need it. The only thing that I was thinking of putting on it is a combo laser/flashlight.
Would I ever use it or is it just a waste?
What are your thoughts.
Thank you
