Vancouver. Cambie St. (near south end of Cambie St. bridge) All inventory gone as of 2 days ago.
I talked to the manager on duty to understand why. Apparently they'd been selling barely more than $100 per month in ammo and were losing "all" their profit to employee and customer theft. (They'd unlock the case and hand you the ammo. I suppose some people or employees were just walking out with it?)
He also mumbled something about Canadian Tire in general feeling uneasy about ammo, in light of some Alberta problems.
Apparently there's a new store opening on Grandview, owned by the brother of the guy who owns the Cambie location. He said that store may sell ammo.
In Vancouver it's a much better idea to buy your ammo from Reliable Gun or Lever Arms than a big generic store, but this place was a good Sunday option for .22LR and they sometimes sold .303 British ammo cheaper than anyone.
