I think CanAm should have the Chinese put in a longer barrel in their old Makarovs. Easy to do. Press out the old one, insert the longer one. Sell them cheap. Bring in cheap ammo!

Simple. The barrels are made in the USA. They come in longer, ported and threaded versions. Primarily in .380. You could get the Chinese Maks for a song. Maybe.

Yes, we could get the guns, but who does the work. We could get the barrels made as well. Again, still working on it. It is never as simple as one thinks at first.

Yes, but who would do the pressing? Not us, at Canadian wages on hundreds of old Maks. It would need to be done in China. We'll ask Norc again tonight. i do want to do it as I like mkas, but they have to be cheap, frankly.
