Anti Swat Attire - Hunting Small game w/B&G rifles

Treemugger, dress how you wish and to hell with what others think. Me personlally I was just saying that all the mag pouches filled with socks, upside down combat knives and face paint stuff is ridiculous looking.....in my opinion only. I would not knock a guy for wearing that if he has a mind to. It is no one's business but your own as to how you will dress yourself.

Like the song says,"If it makes you happy, it can't be so baa-aa-aa-aad.."

If you have negative comments directed your way just ask the speaker why he is wearing what he does. PC = loss of freedom

My opinion is I don't give a crap what any soccer moms, fellow hunters with closed minds, or the RCMP think, as I am 100% legal.
Besides my Deer rifle for this season is a Bright Red SKS. :D

I was thinking of picking up a nice set of Swiss Alpenflage to go with it. :D

Attempt at gaining favor through concession of freedom according to legal rights never acheived any results in this country, or in any other country for that matter. Adapting our behaviour within what "society" deems 'safe' will not sway them to our cause, or win us friends.
On political stage, they fully recognize this as a fight, and we better start recognizing this as what it really is, a 'battle' for out rights. In war, you don't give grounds away for free. We should start doing the same thing.
Blistex, put it the best when he wrote "Given this is Canada it's more about slowing down the loss of rights." Well, if everyone thinks our 'loss' is inevitable, then why are we doing what they want, anyway?
"He that has a mind to fight, let him fight, for now is the time." Personally, I'm sick of being told what to do. If I had to consider my wardrobe in public, then I may well just live in China or North Korea. At least there, what my rights are pretty clear. None.

"Boiler Suits for All!" must forever be the Red Libs slogan. Of course the party Comrades' boiler suits will be lined with ermine and silk and they will wear woven gold underwear and have diamond hobnails on thier boots.

Some people are just destined to be more equal than others. They know what to do with it and we wouldn't.

Yes, giveing ground will gain us nothing but time. Pushing forward is the only way. No more cautious, timerous behaviour. Act with confidence and a belief in what you do as if it is your God-given right and it will soon be recognized as such.

has anyone ever been hurt by camo clad hunter toting a legal "black gun"?

Who f'in cares what your nieghbours in collingwood think.

Ask a Homo ###ual if he thinks living in the closet makes his/her rights any more secure or thier lives less stressful.

That is the single most effective comment I've heard so far. You pretty much summed up the "fear and loathing" atmosphere of today's Canada. They came out, and look where they are now. You get pertty much stoned to death, if you publicily make any inappropriate comments about ###s and Lesbians these days. They once thought homosexuality was a disease, then I wonder if same thoughts are in Liberals' mind when they conspire to take away our civil liberty.

/\/\ Yah, because bdu's and mag limits are totally the same.

... about the same as a law abiding gun owner wearing camo pants somehow contributing to the loss of YOUR firearm privileges.

"someone decided they wanted to dress like soldiers and stopped off at Timmys drivethrough with an SL8 or Ar-180B in plain view"

Do they have Tims in Korea? never heard of this happening here in canada
Maybe you can enlighten me [I'm sure you will] as to the harm caused by individuals in any form of dress discussing a Legal activity in a public place?

I surely hope that the civilian chaps who look down on other civilian guys wearing camo or "SWAT attire" don't own AR's or any tactical firearms.
You might get labelled "wanabees"

Honestly though we could probably go on forever with this issue. Blistex and Fed007 I respect your view on the subject and this post just goes to prove that there are members of the community on both sides of the spectrum... and many in the middle.
It's time for me to remove my camo facepaint and hit the sack.

They don't have Tims in Korea. I know. I've lived there for 15 years.
However, they have Kenny Roger's Chicken there. I've heard that you can legally carry any kinds of firearm in there, with Mr. Rogers' blessing, cause his your knight in shining armour and he loves your firearm.

tell you what, more people dress in camo in Korea then they do in Alberta. anything military looking is pretty accepted here....except of course owning your own handguns ect....thats just not allowed.

Kenny Rogers Chicken...what a concept :D

You're right, Kenny does love his firearms, every second tuesday of the month is poker nite at Kennys crib [he is the gambler] ,and he displays his Kalishnakov collection with obvious affection. He is a sight to behold sitting at the poker table, clad in Camo pants and a wifebeater, chewing on a cuban and drinking wild turkey. Most nights end with Kenny getting grossly intoxicated and beligerent, waving a .45 pistol around with little regard for muzzle direction and rambling on about his supposed "comeback tour". He then proceeds to piss his pants and becomes incoherent, so we just put him to bed, set the perimeter alarm and see ourselves out.

Oh, man, that's just too graphical. But to me, he's more of a lever action kind of guy, don't you think? You know, the gambler image?

But seriously, I see plenty of kids these days wearing that "Military Look" clothing, and sure it looks little funny with all that hoods and pants hanging off their ass, but it doesn't get soccer mom up in arms, not like when one of us's wearing them. Why is that? We aren't allowed to look cool?

...Actually Kennys favourite piece is a Dillon gatling gun. He enjoys ripping off a few thousand rounds in the back 40 at a paper target that looks a little like George Strait.

The whole "Kenny Rogers chicken" restaurant idea is graphic to me...I mean, what's next? "Sam Elliots ribhouse" "John-Wayne toilet paper?"......nothing's sacred. :p :p
