Antique Photos--Post what you got

I will post a separate thread asking for information, but here are some pics of a family heirloom I inherited in 2002. I have no information (yet) about what exactly it is.

New present from me to me

After a couple of years waiting, I finally managed to get myself a Webley. Of course I had to sacrifice a few toys, but gotta do what I gotta do ! to finally get a Nice MKI in original unmodified .455 caliber.

It as just arrived in the mail today ! It is really nice !

After going missing in Canada Post limbo for a couple of weeks (the tracking number showed it left Miami on the 14th, and then nothing until it arrived at the post office yesterday  ) my Webley Mk1 arrived. I need to get some new grips for it, and the cylinder is cut for 45 ACP, but I got it as a shooter, and it should do that just fine. Bore slugs at .451 :D so the 200gr .452 pills I've been loading up my 45LC with should do fine. Just need to get a shell holder for 45 Auto Rim and then off to the range.

Now thats a pretty little pistole, Is that like the one billy the kid supposedly carried?
I dont know much about those ...but its really something, is it a single action , if so whys the trigger so ....foward...

My dad hat 4 origional singl actions he really babied, they were cap an ball though.

Looks like the two together are Dutch Antique Revolvers.
And ones a Rast gasser (i could be mistaken on that one)
the other one is a French 1892.

Are they yours?
PM me if ya want to part with any of em. the Dutch ones are Antique the french gun could be depending on the barrel date.
the other Rast one looks antique but they can be hard to date.

I think the Rast is the model 1898 in 8mm, and I don't think any of them are antique.
FYI Dingus - not all the 1894 Dutch revolvers are antiques - came across one the other day that was made in the early 20's.

Well theres several model Dutuch Revolvers.
I have had one just like in them pics and it was Deregistered.
I cant remember the Ser # tho.

How did you date the one 1920 ?

My New rig

Just got my new rig in the mail today.

French 1892 8mm (Lebel) revolver MFG in 1894 in what I would describe as next to new condition. The holster is a very faitfull reproduction.

So for your eyes ONLY, here is some pics ( Please dont ask, this one is NOT for sale SORRY !!)

Lots of 1892s in exc. condition for sale in the USA for 350-500. They show up here even cheaper as deregisterable restricteds. One of the great antique bargains. Set aside 250 to gear up for reloading.

Lots of 1892's in the USA for sure, but getting harder to find in excellent condition at a reasonable price as the prices are starting to go up there too. If someone can find someting VG+ condition in the $500 USD range, I would say  DONT LET IT PASS BY ! GRAB IT ! before it is gone. I bought this one on an Auction, and I nearly went into a price war to win the auction. Finally the other guy gave up before the price goes too high . LUCKY ME ! :dancingbanana:
