Ya this is a Forehand & Wadsworth 41rf, my colt 41cf cases fit perfect so im gona just use them to make 41rf useing 22 caps,
I also have a F&W 32rf the same model comeing nice pair.
Very well made guns in DA which is what i was looking for most 32rf are single action only.
This gun is fairly rare, and i was very happy to get it with dam near perfect rifleing, this is the gun with the notch carved in the grip and hammer.

**NOTE: You can buy one with or without a license, but you must transport it in exactly the same way as a restricted or prohibited firearm.

Not quite right. Antique handguns need only be transported 1) unloaded and 2) in a case. They do not require trigger locks.

http://laws.justice.gc.ca/en/F-11.6/SOR-98-209/115550.html#rid-115602

Regulations regarding Antique Firearms

ANTIQUE FIREARMS

14. (1) An individual may store, display or transport an antique firearm only if it is unloaded.

(2) An individual may transport an antique firearm in an unattended vehicle only if

(a) when the vehicle is equipped with a trunk or similar compartment that can be securely locked, the antique firearm is in that trunk or
compartment and the trunk or compartment is securely locked; and

(b) when the vehicle is not equipped with a trunk or similar compartment that can be securely locked, the antique firearm is not visible from outside the vehicle and the vehicle, or the part that contains the antique firearm, is securely locked.

(3) An individual may transport an antique firearm that is a handgun only if it is in a locked container that is made of an opaque material and is of such strength, construction and nature that it cannot readily be broken open or into or accidentally opened during transportation.

Theoretically you may discharge an antique wherever it's legal to discharge any firearm. However this has not, to my knowledge, been established through a court case.

You shouldn't have to establish this through a court case, since it is entirely legal to do so. You are still governed by all other municipal, provincial and federal laws, but since these are deemed to be "not firearms", there are no restrictions on where you may shoot them as there would be with restricted and prohibited firearms.

Heres my new like new 1892 french 8mm lebel its a very nice revolver has a mint bore and will be easy to load for useing 32/20 cases.
In my time away i was taught how to post pics. :D

Thanks Good to be back. :D I got some cool Antique revolvers comeing one was a Officers revolver made by I hollis & Sons It needs a new wood grip but is really cool looks like a webley pryse.
It was seized from the Talaban by U.S special Forces and i got the war document with it. I will get some pics up it should be here later this week.

not too sure when or who made it but i think it was made in England
if anyone could tell me what it is that would be nice

Sweet :D the lock looks belgian to me. if it was made in england there should be proof marks on it.
Nice Blunderbuss
If theres any stamps or marks on it let us know.
It looks like a newer copy of a older gun but if not its sure in mint condition.

Hey good to see you back buddy been a while since i seen you post, Ya i gota get pics of the Hollis in here i just wanted to get the grips on it frist but thats gona be awhile so i will post what i have for now.
Turns out its a Webley Pryse i have done alot and i mean alot of resurch into this and Rigby and hollis bought guns from webley and then put there names on the guns barrel tops. Will get a pic latter.

Here it is its a Webley pryse one of the last pryse type made. the War documents state its made in 1894 which i belive is acurate as the rebound hammer Mec is exactly the same as a webley MKI
This has the short cylinder but can shoot 455 or 476 caliber loads.
The older Webley pryse revolvers have a little lever that sticks thru the rear trigger gaurd and is worked when the trigger is in the rear fire postion.
This one has everything internal which is a great improvement.
The steel is of Ex quailty best i have seen the Bore is near mint.
It needs a main spring but it uses the same type of spring as alot of modern revolvers (One spring does two jobs) I have one spring already to fit it but am Waiting on the Webley Pryse with Rigby writen on its barrel top to arive before i start on the grip (There almost the same gun so i can copy the Rigby pryse) Click on pic to enlarge :D

Make sure you post pics of that new Wilkinson Webley when it shows up, I'll be waiting to see it. I don't think I've seen one of those yet.

Heres a couple more that showed up in the mailbox yesterday (and yes, they accually left them in my mailbox). One is a 7mm Belgian Pinfire, and the other a Colt Newline 30 cal rimfire. Both were previously owned by Dingus.

Your Belgium Pinfire is somewhat similar to the Danish Pinfire I inherited from my grandfather. Sorry about the poor quality of the pic.
