Auguste Francotte- Webley RIC Copy

A Belgium made copy of Webley RIC revolver in 380 revolver.

Made by Auguste Francotte (of high end shotgun fame)

Lots of stampings on the revolver.

Looks like it was issued/re-issued to some police force somewhere.

I have shot about 18 rounds of Fiocchi 380 revolver through it. The revolver worked great in both SA & DA mode. It seemed to me anyways, that the felt recoil of the 380 revolver was similiar to that of a 9mm.

I GOT A WEBLEY!!!
This is the first webley i ever owned. its a MK1
Its one of the ones that got converted to 45ACP :|
The trigger on this thing is AMAZING. Its very light and crisp. Even on Double action it feels so feather like. No tension at all.

Nice old revolver, Urban! There is a thought that .45ACP is a bit hot for old Webleys. The bullet is about 30% faster. It is also smaller in diameter, so accuracy might suffer. Use .45ACP or .45AR brass, and load lead bullets of the proper size with appropriate powder charges.
