Any news on the Krinkov style vz-58? (Updated Pic on Page 10)

+2 for shortened gas system!
(I'd buy 2 instantly the moment I saw them... thank you VISA) :D

Seriously though, am I holding my breath?
Any chance there'll be a shortened gas system version?

The 58L and 58S wouldn't be *new* models, would they? Since they've come in before... Although it looks like the 58S is now out of stock too, so it's just as likely that you're correct.
 
I would buy the one with the shortened gas system in a heart beat as well!!! Anyone with some inside info that knows if it is the Defender or a shorter version with the abbreviated gas system?

i didnt say all of them are new models . only two of them are new , the krinkov/defender model and the new furniture model.

dont know how short the gas tube gonna be on the krinkov/defender model , we would just have to wait .

just wait for next week to come check out the website give em a call midweek.. i dunno.... the 58L isnt comming in for another 4-6weeks so im guessing the "other models" must be like curtton said the S, krinvov and diff. furniture or sumthing.. only time will tell lol..

Sorry, misquote. It was ukie10's quote that had the 'four new models' that had me confused, as I only recall the two new ones you mentioned.
 
Any estimates as to what the performance loss will be with the Krinkov as opposed to the L model?

I wonder if the aftermarket railed forends/handguards will work with the Krinkov.

I'm excited to see these coming in!
 
OK FOLKS;
Lets be clear, there are four (4) new variants of the Vz-58 rifles, nothing that we have sold in the past....
We have the first production run leaving Europe tomorrow, expect here in Canad this week end (Dec20).
I have a few pictures we took at the plant if interested....
