Any tactical 223 that is non-restricted firearm?

Hi guys,

I am new here and looking to purchase my first .223 tactical rifle( semi-auto) that is no restricted firearm, i only have PAL license.

Is there such a rifle like that in canada that i can buy?

I would like to spend less than $1000 new or used.

I like something like the AR15 but turned out the Norinco CQA was restricted.

This is about the only .223 tactical style rifle you'll find in Canada that is both a) non-restricted and b) under $1000.

If you can afford to spend in the $2000-$4000 range eek there are lots more options for you.

Bumping the budget up to between 1k - 2k should get you a Mini-14 with AR type stock and pistol grip, or a used AR180B (if you can find one - they're not made anymore )

A kel tec or a mini is not your only option. The mini should be your last choice based on MOBD accuracy. CSA vz58 is another
