Not really, and the barrel switching and grip switching ability makes them very versatile. Not sure how much factory support there is for them tho'. - dan

The 686 with the rubber grip(above) is good for small hands!

A 686 with a set of Pachmyr Professional grips on it, is about a small as you can go.

FWIW the grip size on an L-frame is the same size as a K-frame.

Where are you located? I have one set up that way.

Nice part about revolvers is you can make the grip really small,due to the fact you dont have to ram a mag into it!!

Frankly, after tryign all the grips out there, I keep going back to original S&W target medallion grips... :roll:

We use the Hogue type at work!!Lots of girls work for us and they all use the grips like on a Smith snubby.

Smith and Wesson model 19 or 29 ,

Look for a "pinned one" they are better made.

That means a 29-2 or earlier. the -3 mod did away with the pin and recessed cylinder bores.
