Anyone Shot a 416 Ruger Yet?

Works great with regulars rifles, but heavies tend to try to crawl out of my hand. With the thumb on the tang I got a wicked smack on the tip of my thumb. Now I just take the shot to the nose and take it like a man!
 
I seen my first 416 Ruger shell today (400gr DGX). Impressive! Makes me want a M77 Alaskan with a Mcmillan and a VX3 1.5-5x20.............:(

we've had a few alaskans in stock for a while with only a few sales, now, this past week, sales are 'brisk'-guys must be seeing ammo around and are now getting the rifles. :)

If I was going Ruger that is exactly what I would do!

You can pick a 1.5 X 20 up cheap in the EE.

Buy the gun then order the stock (It wont show up for 6 months anyway!)....What are you waiting for??:D
