Anyone use Vortex's warranty service?

I have a first gen Vortex XBR scope that takes both hands to rotate the magnification ring and i am on the fence as to send it in for service or live with it as is.
Looking for others experience with vortex's warranty service.
Not a large concern as far as quick turnaround FWIW.

Used it twice now. reasonably fast and yeah they don't ask questions . Was better when they paid for the postage though.

I used it a few months ago it was dead easy went to the website and downloaded the form and submitted it. Very fast service they assessed the optic and replaced it at no cost and sent it back. Simple as heck.

Used it once for a Nomad spotting scope. They replaced it with a newer model Diamondback. I no longer own that spotter, but the warranty service was great.

Used it once. Got a lemon right out of the box. Windage turret was seized and would not budge. Scope replaced no questions asked and promptly sold. My one and only dealing with Vortex.

I sent a discontinued tripod to Vortex about a month ago because one of the legs wouldn't lock properly. Since the model was no longer available, they offered me a choice between a few current equivalents and sent me a brand new replacement. Excellent service all around.

just the opposite
warranty like leupold's is that type of a warranty i have bought many used leupolds sent them into korth not because they needed work but because i wanted it serviced and brought up to speck
know charge to me i pay shipping one way and i have a scope that is good for another 40 years
leupold on all my rifles
i would not be seen with a vortex on my rifles

yeah, one of their early model red dots. Sent into the Guelph warranty center, got a new one in about a wk.

If there's one thing Vortex should have down pat it's their warranty service. Has to be their busiest department. Have to wonder how long they'll be able to keep it going if the Chinese/Asian tariff situation continues for any length of time.

Vortex products should use velcro instead of rings it would save on time replacing them.
I went thru a few scopes on my 458wm and they replaced each with a higher model. The last replacement I sold and gave up on the brand

It would be interesting to know actual percentage of warranty return rate on Vortex, Bushnell, Burris, Leupold, Athlon, Holosun, Aimpoint, etc., and how they compare.

So many name brands have made in China items in their brand line ( along with non-China items).
It would also be interesting to know warranty claims on China made vs non-China made product within those brand names.

Probably wishful thinking to find actual stats. Oh well.

I used them a month ago. Top notch service. Quick and easy. Even gave me a upgraded current model since my damaged range finder was discontinued. It's a big pro with Vortex.

Dropped the rifle off the tailgate and shattered the glass on a Vortex Venom (the red dot not the scope), explained them the situation, they asked for some pictures and when and where I got it from (no proof asked), sent me a new one and instructed me to destroy and trash the old one.
Whole ordeal took 4 weeks from contacting to getting a replacement at the door.
