Are old-stock NIB P7M8's and P7M13's going to be available for $1,400 to $1,500?

I'm currently trying to free up funds but when I do I would like to get an m10 and m8
Electro bug sold me his m13 sport last year and I never realized the niche market for these things until he told me that there were people asking him about that gun 6 months after I bought it

Yeah, you just give the money to the little pig with the wings and he drops your $1500 P7 into your back yard.

Question. I have been doing some research on the HkP7's and I am interested in the M8 variant. I also see there is one just called the HKP7 with no M8 but they look identical. Whats the difference?

The "M" models P7s have a heat shield under the barrel to keep the frame from heating up, magazine releases by the trigger-guard (instead of a heel-clip release) and larger trigger-guards.

Hey ghostie, if these $1500 M13s ever come to fruition, I guess our used ones will be worth only a grand:p

Yah, no doubt. If the market is somehow miraculously flooded with NIB pistols... the exisiting pistols will go down in price :) I'm not holding my breath for that to happen, but I am curious to see if more P7 pistols... of any type, condition, etc.... can be located and imported to Canada. I am in favour of that, because I love the P7 and I would like to see more people shooting them and having the chance to own them in Canada.

This whole thing kinda reminds me of a joke/cartoon I saw in a guitar mag when I was a kid: "Guitar player's dream... showing up first at a garage sale where lots of classic axes are going cheap. Guitar player's nightmare: same thing, except you show up right as a busload of Japanese tourists is leaving!"

I was saying to another guy in PM's a few days ago: imagine somebody tells you that a stash of new-old-stock Colt Python's were found in a warehouse in the U.S. somewhere, and now they are being "offered" to a Canadian dealer... at below market prices.

If we change that to "P7's" and "Europe" does it make it any more believeable?

Like everyone else, I want to believe that there are still a few places in the world where classic axes (or pistols) are going cheap... but I've learned not to get my hopes up.

Even if there are used, or police/military surplus pistols... or whatever... I would still be interested. I luv's ma P7's! :)

Speaking of warehouses full of Pythons, I wonder who got the Kuwaiti Police pythons? They were completely replaced after Gulf 1 with brand new Pythons, I assume they've been replaced with something else since then.

Here's some boner-inducing P7 shots to get you guys excited about the possibility of P7 treasures being uncovered in Europe and shipped to Canada.

Electrobug finally (and very kindly) agreed to sell me his blue P7M10. He and I taked about this deal off-and-on for about 2.5 years, while doing other deals. And in all that time, I never saw or heard of another one coming up for sale in Canada - although I did see a couple of nickle ones for sale in that time. Gives you and idea of how crazy rare and desirable these things are. Beautiful, beautiful firearm. Thank you Electrobug!

Here is a basically (for Canada, where the P7K3 is verboten) a "complete" collection of P7 pistols with the tastefull old-style U.S. import engravings (before Bill Clinton came along and pistols started to have warnings written on them) ... which I really like. Sometimes I feel the "direct from Europe" pistols look a bit naked without the big "HK" logo on the right side. There is at least one each here of the "Arlington" (the 1980 PSP), "Chantilly" (the 1984 M13) and "Sterling" (the 1989 M8 and the 1992 M10) pistols here. Ever wonder where Arlington, Chantilly and Sterling Virginia are? You've heard of Arlington National Cemetary across from Washington, DC... well I learned that the other two are in the same general area. Suburbs of D.C. on the Virgina side. Gives you a pretty good idea of who HK has always tried to sell their products to.

SFRC isn't the only dealer claiming to be getting H&K P7's NIB. S&J Hardware was doing preorders for P7's and P7M8's like 2 months ago. They have since taken them off the website probably due to the response and impatient people.

Wait, what? Did you really mean for that to be as insulting as it sounds?
