Are we in an SKS price bubble?

The SKS is dirty cheap even at 300$. If will be produced today in Europe or North America the tag price will be around 1000$. The AK 47 is made way more cheap from stamped parts and cost around 600$ USD. Imagine milled parts of SKS how much will cost to do.
One of us should go over to China buy the old factory and pump out a few million sks with Chinese wages and then ship them to Canada in limited amounts sat 10,000 at a time saying this is the last of the sks then the next time say we found a container hidden full of sks. And so on
How is the quality? I have seen a few Junkers at Canadian tire and my local gun store

However, frontier is selling by the crate for the standard shooter grade SKS for around $210. If you buy a crate, these are individual, so if you buy 20 you save $400. For the same quality!

Canada is now a signatory of the UN marking scheme. Expect future milsurp prices to increase dramatically as the costs associated with complying with this overt civil disarmament ploy are passed on to the consumer. If consumers balk at the necessary price increases, I can see importers seriously reconsidering future imports. Which is, of course, the ultimate aim of the bull $hit UN initiative in the first place.
IMO it's supply and demand. The demand is still there and imports dwindle yes the prices have to go up. Hold on to your sks's regardless their a good weapon. Yes as other members pointed out be weary of a goverment that tries to disarm the people."don't tread on me"
