^^^at this point in time i don't own any norcs but in the past all my norcs have operated flawlessly as designed, i have seen lots of canadian and american ARs fail, like stated up a few posts, you are paying higher wages not quility when you by domestic ARs

i agree with what your saying and dont get me wrong i have norq firearms as well as springfield ruger winchester savage colt and others just tired of people putting down the chinese we all forget they are our allies you know remember when canada made browning high power pistols for the chinese to help in the war effort

That the union fault and better yet the people that run them, basically we are being squeezed by all ends now. This is why North America is becoming a de-industrialized continent that is producing nothing, which effectively makes us a country that is a non-nation. If you produce nothing then you will be a slave to the countries that do, this is one step of making a your currency worthless and a major step to becoming an impoverished and slave nation.
The unions were never put in to help the "average Joe" in the first place, but to do exactly what they are doing today, forcing a our jobs to other cheap foreign markets. this ponzy scheme only works for the super rich in the end, this is a big reason why our standard of living is dropping and we are losing our rights slowly over time as well!

Wether we buy chinese stuff from china cheaply or buy it from the Americans or other "local" producers at an outrageous mark up its still made in China.
Im buying what i want, period. Large corperations that are loaded in $$ and paying crap wages to Canadian and American workers, or have branch plants in china paying crapier wages to their workers..blame them.
Also, blame consumerism and over consumption. 90% of the crap we "need" to live we dont need at all.
As long as we value profit, selling low buying high, money lenders etc over the common farmers we will lose. The Chinese had it right- Confucius had it right, its the lower tier of our society thats the upper tier of theirs- the workers, the farmers, the builders, that actually support the economy not the money lending leaches. We can learn much from them.

I think we have an Alberta based company now...Alberta Tactical? I dont know about their prices...im pretty poor and im addicted to Norinco / military surplus firearms.
For a few hundred more you could have a North American made AR or at least buy parts from Canadian manufacture from now on, China will screw us in the long run, or the importation laws will change, then What?

It's not a free market when then there is no fair standard or a level playing field of doing business.
