No they dont ask for a PAL nor my name. I gave them 3 rifle models and they looked them up.

I personally cant take chances. My career choice involves yearly background checks.

This just kills me with the level of stupid. The Modern Hunter does NOT have tactical in it's name - the company that produces it has tactical in it's name. By this logic they can ban kneepads built by Blackhawk Tactical, or my pants, because they're made by 511 Tactical.

You can't post a speed limit of 55km, leave the sign up but secretly change it to 25km and start ticketing people for it. Obvious though not unexpected overstep. Remember the RCMP was ORDERED to publish the FRT and still they tried this offline/online dual version crap. Insofar as I'm aware, judges hate that.

How childish it may seem the word “tactical”, “assault” or any nomenclature which scares the children must be removed from our vocabulary.
 
I don't know how it is in Alberta, but, in Manitoba, the CFO is an employee of the RCMP. How can we expect (hope) that the CFO wouldn't tow the party line?

Main point: all provinces need a provincial police force!
Quebec is not more reasonable than Alberta, provincially controlled SQ is more reasonable than federally controlled RCMP.
Remember this with upcoming city controlled handgun OIC.

That is a stupid comment as all rifles they make have their name on it - so a 308 bolt gun they make has tactical in the name.

Same here in Alberta, hence the reason for Premier Kenney talking about having AB designate the CFO. I hope that he does it, as well as creating a provincial police force. The less presence the RCMP has in the province, the better it is as far as I am could concerned...
 
i saw Magnum Machine is listed on the CCFR's legal action - does that mean thats the one to donate to to support ATRS? or is ATRS launching a separate action as well?
