ATT's what you need to know

I've heard mixed responses to this scenario, hoping to get some sort of clarification. To preface, I've had my club level ATT for quite some time now, after I've purchased and legally transported a newly acquired restricted firearm from the seller to my home, do I then have to wait for my printed registration certificate to arrive before I can transport that firearm to the range? If not and for some reason, I'm stopped by the police before my registration certificate arrives, how would I go about proving that the firearm does indeed belong to me? If I show both the temporary ATT, which I used to pick up the firearm from the store and has the serial number for that specific firearm, as well as my club level ATT which authorizes the transportation of my restricted firearms to the range and back, will that suffice?

Simply put.. the ATT does not matter there.. if you do not have the cert for the firearm the transporting of it is illegal. It is moronic.. w/o a doubt but you MUST have that cert for any firearm but a non-restrricted class now.

i bought 2 pistols in Dec 2012, i got both short & long term ATTs through the fax that day.
2 weeks later i received the hard copies of Firearm Registration Certificate for both of them but no LTATT.
Can i just use the one that was faxed to me on the day i purchased the pistols?
thanks

Is the one you have still valid? You have to read it.

Imagine what we could save the Canadian Tax Payer in postage, if we had the ability to print reg certs ourselves?...in before "what's stopping you from forging it?"

What? You actually expect the paper pushing CFO's to want to make less work for themselves.. and actually save the tax payer $? If they wanted to do that.. they should all QUIT since they are a complete waste of time in the first place.

Oh and since we know they won't quit their cushy jobs.. sure the paper could be forged.. but it won't do the same for the electronic record matching it. That said though there is many many examples of how the CFO's have screwed that up big time as well.. w/o needing anyone to forge anything.

Any advice on the following would be appreciated...

I'm not sure what days I'd be going to the range so can I just apply/would I likely get the ATT if I put that I'd like an ATT for everyday of the week to my local gun range? Or would it be best to pick a day/days and if that changes submit for a new ATT.
Also, does the ATT cover my current Restricted weapons and any I might purchase during the time of the ATT or do I need to amend the ATT to add new Restricteds I pick up?

Thanks!

As I've told many before.. use the prefilled app..

I'll be uploading a fresh copy to multiple sites in a cpl min and posting the links

Fresh links including the one working old link:

Feel free to UL it to other sources if you want.. etc etc .. the more of us that fight back against the CFO's crap the better.

Also.. remember.. they MUST refuse in writing.. they cannot ignore and not reply legally. And any refusal can and should be appealed under the FA much to the CFO's dismay.

A proper ATT will state "for all firearms which you possess a certificate for". Though the CFO's are loathe to issue such it is possible and perfectly legal.
