Give me your health and you can have my ATV plus my heart condition.Well it is law that ATV's need insurance in BC if you're going to ride it on the logging roads. But that would cost you around 800.00 for the year.

The reason for me to purchase an ATV was to increase my hunting opportunities.NOT to go tearing up the landscape like most here seem to think.Sometimes you have to go a very long ways over very difficult terrain to get to where you want to go and with gear AND if you leave with an animal it kinda helps too. I guess if I had the cardio of Lance Armstrong I could easily haul heavy gear and animals over my back over miles and miles of terrain, but looks like I am lazy.
It's a tool, just the same as we call rifles tools to do a job, very similar to how hunting on horseback was done,I however am not allowed to keep a pony in my back yard.
Some choose to hunt on foot, some use an ATV to get to areas, as long as you are out enjoying the sport what should it matter, respect the land and all is well.
I agree.old hunters are not the ones tearing up the countryside
Yes. Some of these guys are obviously pretty young and just don't get it. I'm 68 years old, my knees are going and I don't have the stamina that I used to have when I was still packing moose and elk out on my back.
My wife said "Hey! You should get a quad and extend your hunting by a few years." One of the few times I listened to her!
Anyway, old hunters are not the ones tearing up the countryside.
Give some thought and consideration to the oldtimers sonny!
The graffiti and garbage are a separate issue dealing with a general decay of morals in society.
