Auto 9mm with no thumb safety?

I thought the same thing before I bought mine, but it actually doesn't look as bad live as it does in pictures. I don't even notice it anymore. Has 3 grooves instead of a single one on the Glock. More mounting options if you are going to use the rail.

Go Glock!

Convince me!

I had a Glock 22. Hated it!

Too much snap on a light frame with a blocky grip and a trigger that went "Twwwaaaannnngggg.

NOT FUN!

Never made it thru the 500 rounds of 40 I purchased for it.

That snap is going to be similar on any .40 poly gun. 40's are snappy. Any reason why you don't want 9mm or 45? I had an xd 40, and now I have a 9mm Glock 17 and M&P. I got a kick out of your description of the Glock trigger...you really only notice it dry firing, and that is similar in my experience to all 3 striker fired pistols I've owned.

If you can handle a decocker try the CZ SP-07 Duty. It should fit your hands fairly well.
