next time I'll be closer on shotgun. Figured out if you hold back on pump handle on remington it stays locked when you pull the trigger makes for jerky reloads.
od idea to have a mandatory reload, before the last round was firedDidn't matter, cause somehow I zeroed the stage anyways

It wasnt somehow.....
It was two mikes.
Those errors are why we had the discussion about the 10 round mags and forward bolts.
You can run IAs all day long........if it does not fit it does not fit.
Pooh. Sounds like someone didn't check their gear prior to the shoot. I guess the 10 round mags aren't such an advantage after all.
TDC
I just got the AR recently, I had it to the range to make sure everything was good to go. Tried 50 or so rounds through each mag, everything worked great. Of course I didn't have the presence of mind to try inserting a mag with the bolt forward, being that I was trying to be safety conscience at the range.
What amazes me the most, is that a supposed friend didn't warn me about such a problem existing. Gamer. LOL![]()
I don't see how loading a magazine with a round chambered is a safety issue?
TDC
Well, it's not a safety issue if you are in control of the firearm, but when you leave it on a bench, to go to another bench beside with the spotting scope set up, I tend to want to have it unloaded. Get it.
And while I am at it, why does it seem, that every thread you post on, you have to have some negative, or snide remark to make?
My next question is, how far away is the next bench with the spotting scope? More importantly, why are you shooting from the bench? If you aren't zeroing the rifle, it doesn't belong on the bench. Does your range have an issue with slinging loaded firearms?
TDC
As far as "negative or snide remarks" I have a hard time understanding why so many are terrified when handling firearms, and choose to exercise poor or illogical handling habits as a result.
