BCL MRX Bison Recon

Man I really want to get one of them MRX bison but I keep hearing bad things about it. Almost every review video on YouTube had it sent back for maintenance. Not convincing at all unfortunately. I really like the 20 rounds mag and the looks of the rifle. But I feel like I will ultimately grab a ruger ranch instead...

The warranty service at BCL is fantastic. If you do have a problem with your rifle they fix it immediately.

My ruger american I waited over a year for a part. Keltec Norinco Smith and Wesson all of these the warranty never got the parts to fix. Firearms are machines and if you use them they will break. BCL stands behind their product anything else here in Canada no.

I had problems with my Ruger Ranch out of the box. The bolt was so stiff and people on here said, just cycle it 500 times !!!??? Still, everybody raves about them. The trigger was horrible, the stock could almost bend around a corner, that much flex - no problem people on here said, just put it in another chassis. And don't even think about getting a Mini 30 magazine conversion kit, it does not cycle properly.

As you mentioned and this is also my experience at least in Canada, warranty for those big manufacturers is horrible. Gravel Agency is the warranty center for Ruger. Up until last year, you could deal with them directly, now you have to go to your dealer who then deals with them. Never gets anything done. And of course you pay for shipping. What kind of warranty is that?

Totally different in the US of course.

I think a Howa mini action in an mdt lss chassis would give you a lighter, more accurate rifle. With better product support. Only 10rd mags available, but if you’ve missed with the first 10 then that’s probably that.
