BCL15 Upper/Lower Sets $89.95, Non Cerakoted...in the Raw

My son ordered and payed for a set , you guys say you cant supply now issuing him refund ? Whats going on ?

We’ve posted a few times that there is an issue transferring the last batch of 2 dozen to our inventory. We have no idea how much longer it will take so we’re issuing refunds for the last 21 of them.

That looks really good. Definitely darker than the green I was expecting. Have you ever done a handguard? I’m still weighing my options for the entire build but I want the handguard done. Looks difficult tho!

This is my first build. I just picked up my lower parts kit today and there's a lot of bits and bobs to figure out. Lucky that my LGS had the Tekmat manual available. 1534373675325673492497.jpg

I got a chance to start installing some parts and soon learned that the Cerama Coat chips off quite easily. The upper was a little better considering it was sandblasted first but still mars with metal to metal contact. I followed the instructions meticulously especially the baking and curing times.
Not too worried seeing as this is my first build and I'm inevitably going to make more scratches. I put a Bushmaster lpk in and a DPMS upper kit. Everything fit properly.

Marcie will be contacting the remaining 21 people who ordered these and processing refunds/cancelling the orders. They still aren't transferred into our inventory and from our calls today it doesn't look like it will happen any time soon. Our apologies for the issues but the it's beyond our control at this point.

Ryan

Thanks Ryan,

You guys have always given great service, and are great communicators! I have been contacted and am sadly waiting for the refund now, instead of the parts.

If possible, should these become available in the future, I would welcome notification, and will immediately reorder.

I am grateful for getting in on one set, as they are working very well.

I look forward to dealing with you and your great staff in the future!

Many thanks,

Mark

Looks good! I sand blasted my lower for better adhesion; glad I did!

My refund came through today. While I am sorry things did not work out differently, I appreciate your great communication! My build on the one I did get is progressing nicely.

Many thanks; and the offer stands, if they become available, I'm in for at least one!!!

Here's how mine came out. This raw set is from the earlier batch that included a 7" handguard. Special thanks to Gravel for the awesome Cerakote job! The pictures really don't do it justice.

It's a 9mm Colt style setup, Cerakote in burnt bronze.
PSA 9mm Hybrid Bolt with Spike's 9mm magwell block.
CNA 7.5" 9mm barrel with KAK flash can.
Colt Canada ambi selector and ambi mag catch.
Colt Canada trigger group, KNS anti-rotation pins (had to mod the ambi bolt release for it to work with the KNS pins).
Geissele Maritime Bolt Catch.
TNA Raptor style charging handle.
TNA extended takedown/pivot pins.
Radian QD receiver end plate.
Magpul MBUS sights.
MVG MLOK Grip and MOE K2 Grip.
Battlelink Minimalist Stock on Colt Canada buffer tube assembly.

sweet dude.

Very nice!

How's it shoot?

My indoor range is 25yds and only allows pistol caliber carbines so I have yet to shoot it past that distance. The results I have at 25 yards are very satisfying, I can easily shoot 2" groups standing with the irons if I take my time. As for reliability, I didn't encounter any problems yet.

Finished mine on Tuesday, and it runs like a sewing machine; 10 round LAR mag and all. I have not completely settled on sights yet, but a red-dot for now; I need some iron sights, a muzzle device and some rail section for a bipod, sling, and some rubber filler pieces for my hand. Like you, FDE chassis with black accents. Looks good!
