Beard catching in m4 stock?

I regularly catch and pull hairs from my beard in my M4 "Magpul" stock. I can fix the problem with tape but is there a better way?

Ok, you guys aren't helping. My mill spec + tacticool beard is still conflicting with my mill spec stock. I made a temporary fix with hockey tape, created a sleeve to overlap the buffer tube so my beard won't get pinched.

You guys aren't very usefull but I must admit you are funny...

I have the same problem.

On both my magpul and vltor stocks...

However, I have come to the realization it is not the stock catching my beard...
It is the beard refusing to let me lower the rifle.

Was going to suggest the same. There is no molding lines on the top or gaps.

Put the tape only on the rear part but let it overhang the gap to create a shield that still allows you to collapse the stock but keeps your beard from getting caught. I haven't bothered to do that because the temporary discomfort reminds me that I'm still in the fight!

I have a similar problem with harmonica's in neck racks while playing guitar.
