Benelli M4 vs Clones

  • Stoeger, a brand owned by the Beretta Group (which also owns Benelli), manufactures its shotguns in Turkey, but these are distinct from Benelli-branded firearms.
I guess Italy makes better guns for some reason
To keep the stoeger junk cheap its made by cheap labor and lacks the r&d investment of the better brand names

I’ll take my panzer all day with 5-6 cases of buck over a real one.

M4 is for fun imo. In a situation of any sorts. I am not relying on a semi shotgun.
No way it can take one full case of buckshot, let alone 5-6!!! These kill themselves in sub 1000 rounds, sometimes sub 500…and usually ####ty/weak ammo is being used too!!!

I never said just as good. But I’m deffs more then a case of buck through mine.
Total round count but multiple cases at this point.

Obviously they’re not on the same level. Hit it was implied it should be broken by now. Based on what ? Other than to try and flex a little piece of meat. There was nothing to go on

BTW, I've seen clones (Sulun) where the gas venting doesn't work at all. I wonder how common this issue is among other clones, since the user probably wouldn't notice it - who actually checks whether the gas venting works? Usually, it doesn't cause any immediate failures, but it gradually eats away at the rear wall of the aluminum receiver, eventually destroying the gun or, under certain circumstances, causing feeding and ejection issues due to the brutal, untamed recoil when shooting more powerful shells.

I have a Retay Masai Mara, I bought on a whim at an auction, was trying to sell it here, no takers. I took it out goose hunting, first time it was ever fired and I must admit I like it. Don't know how long it will hold up but it will get a workout 4 sure. Some of the posts on this thread make me a bit nervous about it. Time will tell.

The worst thing about this thread…….reminds me of the time I passed on a slightly used M4 I could have got for $700. I was in a phase of selling all my composite guns and buying wood stocked ones…..what a bone head move.
