Yes it was same lot. Wasn’t consistent enough to write home about as the wind picked up and had some really bad horizontal. I shot 20 rounds of centre x and a box of sk match, and one box of tenex. The lapua and sk seemed to fight the wind better but the tenex held its vertical better.
The vertical averages came in around (sk) 4 inch. Lapua (3.5 inch) eley 3 inch. Horizontal was opposite
Eley worst was 7 inch sk 5 inch lapua 3 inch.
The day for the first groupings mentioned did have about 10 k wind, I am curious if the higher advertised bc of the lapua and sk is ringing true?

Gun seems to have settled in nicely. No flyers and consistent groups. Got to shoot in still air this morning, much better then yesterday. Meets the sub moa guarantee by about 1/2. Very happy with my purchase, now to convince mdt to make me an ACC with a 16" forend. Like to try some tennex in it next.
The same lot of Tenex gave .1" at 50, 1.25" at 100, and sub-3" at 200 yards. Further testing will reveal more about how it will shoot on average.
Regarding the ballistic coefficients, I'm also curious about the figure of .172 cited on the Lapua and SK webpages. That seems higher than might be anticipated. Other sources have different values. For example, Gundata.org lists Lapua 40 grain round nose ammo like Center X with a BC of .161, the same figure given in Bob Forker, Ammo and Ballistics, 5th Edition.
To continue, it may seem odd that, while standard velocity Eley 40 grain round nose lead ammo has a BC of .15, the similar standard velocity RWS 40 grain round nose ammo has a BC of only .109 (as listed in both Gundata.org and Forker). Meanwhile, CCI SV 40 grain round nose lead ammo, also with an MV very close to the Eley and RWS ammos, has a BC of .120. All are very similar bullets with very similar MV's, yet BC figures are less similar. That leaves questions about how reliable are the sources, and which sources can be trusted.
Shooters wishing to know more about .22LR ammo BC may have some cause for at least a small measure of uncertainty or confusion. There seems to be a wide range of BC figures available for .22LR ammo. Several decades ago, the BC of a bullet seemed more straightforward, as this chart suggests.

Scuba with TriggerTech I heard some models they talk of timed and untimed... sear to contact during bolt throw? Possible damage?

Any time groups are less than .1" centre-to-centre is very good indeed. Were these results the average of a number of groups? How many shots per group?

Please educate me here, how do you measure .026" spread on a paper target? There's more than that variance just guessing where the edge of the hole is in the paper isn't there?
I think your decimal points are mixed up, should be .260 and .460?

With the triggertech, I have not felt anything different than the factory trigger in terms of running the bolt, worked fine on Saturday. I did leave it around 2 pounds but will lower this weekend. No issues.

Got my new athlon Midas tac 5-25 on Monday, went out to zero today. With the Burris xtr rings and the mdt rail I have bottomed out the scope for elevation, I have a full 34 mil of elevation at my disposal. Will have to see how far that gets me. Jerry had the scope and rings here no time flat, as he is aware of the crps I am shooting next weekend. Zeroed with the sk long range agin thanks Jerry. Even in the wind today it did very well, only went to 100 but the weekend should be good for some 300 yard testing in the cold.
The scope is very clear and well put together. I do recomend the athlon. Midas tac is a mid range offering but still a great reticle and clear glass, would love to peek through their higher end stuff
