Best gun safe, bar none?

I believe in high quality gun safes.
You build a better safe, it takes a better criminal to penetrate it.
Any Safe can be attacked and breached with three things, the right Tools (torches, pry bars, grinders, drills...) Training (knowledge, experience, skills) and Time
A Criminal with the right Tools, Training and Time will most likely be successful.
The better the safe the better the deterrent.

I have a Sentry Safe, it might not be the best safe but it works for me. It has a electronic lock but also has a skeleton key so if something goes wrong with the electronics you can always get in. I've had this safe for at least 12 years and haven't had to use the skeleton key yet.

If you can afford a $10k + safe, you are better off with a safe room IMO.

You can hide the entrance for one, and you can have 8” thick concrete walls / ceiling with steel plate inside. Much more cost effective.

Spend $2-3k on a good door, and do the rest yourself. It’s not that hard.

A good door is about 10K not 2K lol

You really can’t equate the burglary resistance of a 2K door to a 10K dollar safe. Not even in the same ballpark, hidden or not. Most of the times people with high end collections are targeted and the thieves have knowledge of the collection. A bit of dry wall or Murphy door is not going to stop them finding the entrance.
