What cool brakes do you have for 7.62x51?
What are you looking for? And for bolt or auto?
What cool brakes do you have for 7.62x51?
Looks good!!
I want something for my Stag SBR upper, and a 14.5" I have....
I think I'll be getting the PWS and/or Surefire to try.![]()
dlask also have the clones for around 75 bucks
We have some similar designs to the SPEX brake, so I am sure it will work well
Honestly we have been surprised by the commercial demand for these. Some mil-monkey who thinks he can shoot and Jerry Barnhart running these has created a great deal of interest, Mil-dude with the civilian segment, and a different segment from Jerry and his audience these days.
Heres the newer one I put on. Its a PWS CQB, it makes the 10.5 barrel almost quiet. Recoil is less as well. This is far better than the other PWS I posted, the other one was to loud on the shorty. Way to loud.
Very cool lookin set up USP! I like the look of the full length rails with a large break on the end. Im curious though, the CQB looks quite heavy. Are they as solid as they look, or are they hollowed out and lighter than they look.
do you find it noticeable on the front end?
I think that the triple tap would look awesome on a tavor. Id love to see that!
The front is already heavy on the MRP. The brake is a 2 piece design, it screws together with a sort of ratchet mechanism. Makes cleaning it out easy. I would have to measure it, but I think its maybe 2.5 long. I have a UBR on the rear so it balances the gun out well.
The CQB itself is not noticeably heavy. Its a sizeable improvement over others I have tried for a shorty. The CQB seems to channel all the noise directly forward as well.
