best rifle for zombies

I would use classic medieval weapons. A good shield, spear, and sword will never run out of ammo against zombies. As we all know, zombie encounters always end up close and personal. :)

When all of hell is full the dead will walk the earth... I would want something stylish in the zombies apocalypse. Seems like you would want something trendy. I say a nice cowboy action on one side for stopping power like a .357 Glock on the other in 9 mm and a nice ar or ak platform full auto 30 rnd mags. What's a 22 going to stop? There is not much pound force behind it that being said a 10 22 modded out and a 100 round drum would be cool maybe a take down... With an oil filter suppressor adapter matter fact, an oil filter adapter for everything. Quiet and economical, plentiful.... Mechanically beautiful. I would want something easy to fix, and find parts and ammo. I would say shotgun but the shells are too bulky unless you hunkered down somewhere. Maybe something in 410 would that be enough load?

my vote goes to the sks, simply because In the "zombie invasion" I dont think the .22 would destroy brain tissue enough to stop them, though the .22 does have the large ammo capacity and is comparabley quiet in comparison.

Id say during the "zombie outbreak scenario" an sks with large capacity magazines and an oil filter supressor would be better for knocking off zombies via. headshot.

I would go with the SKS. Get 2-3 of them for the same price and pass them around to a few friends to assist with the battle against the rising horde...

Although a .22 worked in Zombie land... I have some serious questions about how much of the brain it would destroy. Peirce the skull, oh ya forsure. But it actually has to destroy the brain.

I think I would stick with some thing in .223 (5.56) or 12ga. Sure they are loud but with a 12 gage you don't nessisarly need to destroy the brain when the head is blown clean off. So an AR for engagements at range, and because ammo and the ability to carry ammo is plentiful. And an 12" 870 for close engagements.

Iv been looking for a reason to buy one of these..

I think i'm missing something here, anyone want to help a newbie out?
Not only have I *seen* .22LR JHP, i've loaded and fired them. So what gives?

No you haven't!

That would mean Wrong Way would be wrong! And that has never happened, ever! in the history of internet semantics!

You know your place in the CGN importance scale! And it is way under this man! ;)

hey, I'm open to being proven wrong...and all you gotta do is show me the jacketed .22 LR you said existed. (Hint: it doesn't....the 22LR uses a healed bullet, and therefore can't be jacketed...but hey, don't let silly things like facts get in the way of your rant)

I'm sorry, but this has nothing to do with "WW can't be wrong"... It is simply a matter of, in this case, me being right. :) I think you may be lashing out because you feel butt hurt because I pointed out your error. You should maybe talk to someone....
that kind of reaction isn't healthy.

Wrong way... Yer a funny guy ;)
But have you used google lately LOL
CCI .22, 45 gr "JHP" jacketted hollow points..... Wait for it....
They do exist
Howevr further research shows that they are not availlable in .22LR , just .22 WRF and WMR

Yup....the WRF and WMR use 'em....as do any of the 22 center fires.....but as I put above, the 22 LR uses a healed bullet, and therefore can't be jacketed. :)

Oh... Speaking of zombie killing equipment, one of those wheat cutting combines, with strategically mounted mini guns... Unstoppable LOL
