Bigfoot ... ???

Are there any jurisdictions in Canada where it's specifically illegal to shoot a bigfoot ? I just watched Les Strouds two part series and he claims to have had unusual encounters in northern Quebec , northern Ontario , Alberta , British Colombia , Alaska and maybe the Yukon . I see it as no different than shooting coyotes to sell their hides or any trapper and the first person to clock a bigfoot would be an instant millionaire . Doesn't matter to me if they walk on two legs or what they look like , for a million apiece i'd clock the whole family .

Im an avid hunter and fisher but honestly I don't think I would EVER kill one unless it was in self defense if I seen one. If they are out there they're just another rarity of the world's creatures. Just like albino deer, moose, and ghost/spirit bears I couldn't see myself shooting one it's just a good feeling knowing that there are very unique and different animals out there. Not pulling the trigger would make me feel good knowing that I gave them another day of life. Everyday there are less and less unique/endangered/protected species that eventually become extinct.

I applaud you sir! There needs to be more like you who will do what it takes to preserve rarity rather than exposing it to those who would exploit.

No hat for you!! :p

Can't do that. There might be bushes and snow outside. I'll just hang out at a Tim Hortons and hopefully I can get a shot of one raiding the dumpster.

That would make you a bonafide Sasquatch Hunter/believer just like the rest of these hippies!!

Hippies didn't settle on the prairies. It's too windy for them and the smell of crude oil venting from lease wells was a little rich to their senses. It also meant they would not have been able to collect welfare in a work rich environment and protesting on prairie soil probably would have been dangerous for them. They kept on going once leaving Ontario until they reached the wet coast and their hero David Suzuki. It may be different now that oil prices have plummeted and AB has an NDP gov't. Makes collecting welfare in an area traditionally known as being working class much easier........plus with todays land prices they can no longer afford to buy a small piece of land dedicated to goat milk farming and candle making.......

You are so far off the mark. I won't post a response due to having enough infractions.

this is the all time classic answer/statement coming from a guilty man! Here, you neither admit to having a First Nations girlfriend in P.A., for whatever unknown reason (prolly to shy), nor do you denigh (dispute) the fact for fear of being caught up red handed in a lie one day in the future! And in an attempt to change the direction of the discussion, you toss in the infraction bit! Nice try, my friend, but no cigar!

When I was in University quite a while back, I was lucky enough to grab the opportunity to sit in on a 2 hr seminar on How To Read Between The Lines. This has allowed me to see right through your response to my suggestion! You would be well off in life if you would just stand tall and tell it like it is!

I checked your history spank, you have never had an infraction, no-sir-e, not even one! You have been a good boy on line here all throughout your lengthy time since 07/07! So, what have you got to say, will you come clean?

Haha, you're so full of it! Guaranteed you of all people haven't been to university, at least not for education purposes anyways...

He only sat in one so he could actually say he's been to a University. There was probably a free supper and bar event. He wouldn't pull out that cherry 99 Taurus to attend a have to pay for event.

BTW deux-chiens the last time I was in PA was 1990.....parked overnight at the Husky Truck Stop which I am told is no longer in existence? Maybe Kelly can confirm that with photographic evidence?
I also want to know where you get the idea I am infraction free? Infection free, yes, infraction free, no! Hell I have two pages of them!

Bigfoot lives matter!!!

I'll pass on your comment to a guy I know who heads up the Manitoba Sasquatch Research Center. I don't think he'd approve of anyone shooting a Squatch.
I'd post his Biz card but I can't post pictures for some reason. Yes, non-believers, there really is such a person.

Yeah, doesn't take much to be a highly respected sasquatch hunter around here. Make dishonest claims about supposed sasquatch observations. Take shabby, mundane pictures, for the purposes of self-delusion. Don't bother going outside if there's snow or bushes, but admonish those who don't waste their time chasing mythical creatures. Rely strongly on testimony fueled by drunkenness. Endlessly prophesize that solid evidence will be demonstrated shortly (apparently the schedule is the same as the second coming) to keep the true believers from losing faith. Refuse to answer direct questions or address counter-arguments, because the unsubstantiated claims would rapidly crumble if exposed to any scrutiny.

ahoy neighbor! There have been sightings to your east, east of Reynolds Ponds and again east of Windy Lake, swamp, where no man without an 8 wheel wide tracked Agro can go! No clear pics, as you know they are tough to be had! Again last night we were grooming sled trails in the Brightstone Sand Hills Forest and came across those large foot prints with a very lengthy stride. There is definitely something out there. If any one wants to get an expedition going, I will gladly lead you to the area with the tracks. If anyone at the MSRC is interested, I can provide a pic and would gladly get more.

Uhm, I already did so quite a while ago friend.

Wondering if anyone else has done that same as me and interested in sharing their own personal opinion here in this thread?

I did go there and had a look. Which tracks do you think are the same? I saw some resemblance in the weasel, lynx and ground hog pics, but these are still different. Oddly, the weasel being the most similar in the lengthy stride, but the foot shape is not the same, wide toe and narrower heel. Very interesting!

Why not set up a couple trail cams where you see these tracks occurring or are you going to tell us the reason a Bigfoot has never appeared on trail cam is because they have trail cam radar so can bypass them?!

Trail cams don't pick them up because mythical creatures have no heat signature and have no form to trip a motion detector.
