sadly yes and I am just glad this is nearly over. and what shocks me though was the CZ's response as posted by LANZ. While CZ said it's factory defect, instead of replacing it or improve quality, they suggest "fix" to be done by customers. see below I copied & pasted from that thread. Just based on this reply, I removed CZ from my must-own list. Now looking at SPHINX. I know I can probably get the great finish I want with shadowline or canadian edition, but the manufacturer's "fix" for factory issue really turned me off.

There is a production faulty. The solutions how to solve it are:
1. let apply fine emery clothe and remove black scratches or, 2. let apply wire wheel and remove black scratches and then apply fine emery clothes to be surface nice and smooth
This is the reply I received from CZ.
The customer is returning the firearm and receiving a full refund.
