Brand new mossberg full of rust

Have several myself, although newer than that, but still agree.
Curious the OP stated there was tons of lube on the firearm. Of all the ones I have bought or worked on over the years, each has come bone dry from the factory. Strange

if you read my posts you read that people I know have 500s and like them. Yes the firing pin and trigger assemblys' had enough grease for multiple guns. Bone dry everywhere else and lots of rust.

Ignorance, you're doing it.

...but I agree, cool story.

There's too much emotion from the op, for his description to be believable. It is however, a cool story.

Seems like all the biggest clowns on here have 3000+ posts . DILLIGAF 7000 posts!! get a freaking life man instead of just being a D bag on some gun forum all day lol.

Well I got to kill time somehow at work :) and when deployed. I think I posted at least 3000 replies while on tour in Kuwait ... LoL CGN is the only thing that kept me sane over there.

I just love poking a bit of fun, but some people here are wound up so tight it's unbelievable.

Yes it was, and the second one had plenty of rust as well. I thought maybe a bad day at the factory, but they were built 6000 apart.

Yes it did have rust, and I was going to ask to see another, but that was anticipated. I was told they all have some rust. Kind of a here it is, this is what you get comment. I was only helping a friend, and knew he wanted that particular gun, so I took it and spent the time to rid it of the rust. It also appeared that a refund was not an option, and I didn't want to get into an argument. It took some time and effort but I think I got all the rust. Time will tell I guess. Since I was going to fix the rust on the second one anyway, I offered to buy the first one if they would give me a decent discount, considering it was quite bad, and was going to take a lot of nit pick work. They didn't want to do that, and I am fine with that. I just hope it went back to Mossberg, and it doesn't get sold again unless made proper.

Apparently no one on this thread knows anything about bluing bluing is a rusting process . This is not moisture rust on the gun it is residue from the bluing process on the gun.guns that are bead blasted are worse fore this because the metal is poris and holds more chemical residue . It is away to cut costs of the company took the time to properly process the gun after the bluing this would not occurr but then they would not be cheap any more . This effects all low end entry shotguns and rifles you will never see this on a shotgun of rifle with a high lister blue Crsp is king u get shay u pay for . Cheap chesp cheap

I am sorry struff55, but you are way off here. This is a camo gun, and I think people here do understand bluing. You don't really think those here,,,, don't understand bluing do you?
