I just upped the price to $31.95 as we're doing a Canada Day sale...12% off...so it works out about the same. I can't go under the original sale price so the options were to either take them off line for the sale or up the price for the sale.

So now that I have ordered two of these, then purchased Hatcher's Book of the Garand, for a little history, I have no idea where to find more parts...

Again, if you don't shop around and pick your products wisely.

Does anyone seriously think building these will get cheaper over time? Consider the springfield receivers, stripped, last sold at sfrc for 200 bucks.

If ever you wanted to build a cost effective garand, a 30 buck receiver is the cheapest way to start that project. In 73 units this price will be gone, and so will the receivers.

Then watch the price of these gems go up.

Where did you source your parts?
 
Well, Im on board for one. I noticed they had archangel stocks on sale so I figured I would start and SKS and grand project while I try one of the VZ polymer mags at the same time :p

As most of the parts that were on these receivers years ago were sold to the US it would be a good idea to look that way. The current exchange rate is brutal right now but assembling one is well worth the experience. My #10 is almost finished (trigger guard is fubar) but that will be corrected soon.
 
Second delivery notice for mine. Sorry UPS, I work during the day! fenceline, if/when I get mine (I ordered 3) I will check the SIN and advise.

Thanks. I will no doubt have to make the drive. It ain't close like Purolator or CP though. I sent them an email requesting they deliver after 5pm. Curious if the reader has gotten off the floor yetLaugh2
