Did anyone get a Berretta? What is the difference, why does everyone want one as opposed to the other?

The only difference is it says Beretta. People want one for preference. It would appear there are fewer beretta left than Breda.

I got 2 Breda, one was almost in the white and the other had much more bluing. It make no difference to me because I would be bluing them before they were barrelled.

Frankly nothing, They both comply to Drawing no. D6528291(the latest modification) which puts them at or around 1950's. Breda made receivers for Berretta
when they fell short. You can tell by looking at the right hand side of the receiver under the oprod rail for the BMR. If it's a PB = berretta. Both are super quality.

I did have an look on my Winchester garand vs my Dane garands, seems the receiver walls are thicker towards the rear of the receiver. Anyone else noticed?

Yea opps, The Dane (Italian) receivers are slightly thicker.
