Brigade currently has these on sale on their own website, %15 off.
Could likely import a restricted one through IRunGuns, get it re-barreled in Canada and have it NR before these land and save yourself $3-400 along the way. You just take the risk if the liberals prohibit them along the way.

Anyone know if these are a new production run with 18.6" barrels or if they are re-barreling unsold units? I know these get great reviews but $1,500 non-AR15 5.56 rifles are a hard sell south of the border.

What is the difference between a rifle that had a 16" removable barrel installed and then replaced with an 18" barrel, and a rifle that had an 18" barrel installed from the start?
Small manufacturers can't afford thousand of rifles stockpiled and not get sold. Even if they had say a thousand, and then installed factory made 18.6" barrels - what difference does it make?

I don't care either way. I'm just thinking in terms of lead time. Swapping barrels would be much quicker than waiting on new production since the FRT was just issued.
