Based on serial number patterns thus far, it appears round top actions persisted until 1949 to approximate serial no. 27### in the form of '22' carbines. The earliest DSB, thus far, is a 1948 21H model at serial 215xx. So, in summary, it appears the '21' rifles got the DSB actions a year earlier than the '22' carbines.
Baribal is quite right, after 1950, production numbers were much less; approximately 1000 units per year. This is quite evident in the serial number patterns and associated date ranges. This also supports the notion that after the Galas design ZG-47 was finalized, the model 21/22 was essentially assembled from a parts inventory.
