Burris vs vortex

I recommend both and have had no problems with either.

I prefer the Burris though. I had a positive warranty experience with them, and for some intangible reason the scope just feels better. Not a highly scientific answer, but that’s my answer.

I have the Burris signature 5-25x5, few vortex vipers, Zeiss, leupold and others. The only brand I have had issues with was leupold. I would suggest looking into Arken. Same lifetime warranty and are pretty reasonably priced. I have two with 34mm tube, first focal plane, zero stop and they were 700 dollars each. Arken has lower powered less expensive in their lineup also.

Another vote for burris. Have two and a comparable DIamondback on another rifle. By far better eyebox and clarity.

That said, the new Fullfield (replaced the older Fullfield IV) is substantially shorter. Totally better off with a rail... especially over a long action. Rails for mine are dear AF, so I had to finaggle with offset rings. Not a great way to do it, but it sorta works.

I’ve been a Vortex guy for years, currently using the Dimindback mostly.

I just picked up a Burris Fullfield 2.5-10x based on reading this thread! Will let you know what I prefer!
