Bushmaster ACR Canadian Pricing ***UPDATE Pg. 15***

Shemaghs scream dork.

Good, I'm not the only one that thinks so, I just didn't want to be the first one to say it.

Why can't he match his accessories? Complete Mall Ninja, He only buys gear when it is on sale. So he is stuck with left overs.

+1 yea cover your face because god knows the free world is doomed if you dont!!

Hey i dont care if you play fantasy world, whatever floats your boat i guess, its just funny as hell!!!

All the guys whining about the price ought to take a look at the higher end AR's. I have seen them go for well over $3000 with some as high as $5000 so the ACR is well within that price range.

If you can only afford Volkswagon stop dreaming of Ferrari.

I own a knights, noveske and colt le6920 and still think this is overpriced. I can definitely afford it. The issue I have is this is a Remington product and we usually get Remington products for around the same price as our American brothers. But in this case someone thinks it's ok to rape the consumer. This isn't a Swiss made quality product or a custom made firearm this is a mass produced firearm made by bushmaster a company known for it's slipping QC.

are you comparing "high end" ARs with base model ACR?

ACR = milktoast, unproven, bad sales and Bushies QC appears to blow a dead bear.
For this price a Knights SR-15 is a far better deal.

Bingo. As much as I like Remington, they have an early upper bound. The ACR is no Masada. So far, from reports I've seen, the ACR is more like the XCR.

So a basic ACR is a Ferrari now??? LOL wow, whatever you're smoking I want some...

You're comparing high end and custom AR's to a basic ACR? really? Interesting comparison. The fact of the matter is, all the high end AR's like LMT COLT and Knights are all well within the US sale price. Same can be said for their uppers. The ACR basic right now goes for 1900-2000 depending on where you look. The other issue I have, is the fact that these high end AR's are waaay more harder to bring in, alot of red tape. Remigton Canada is the distributor for the ACR, the work has been done by Remington. So whats the deal?

Give your god damn head a shake for condoning this price of almost 3400 for a basic model.

This!

I think that the price is a little too muckin' fuch.:D

Granted, the non-res "black" rifles go for more here in Kanada thanks to Kim Campbell and Bills C-17 and C-68, that's still no reason to attempt to gouge Canadian customers.

Our market IS smaller than the US market, of course. That still doesn't justify the price increase over US pricing, especially considering that the loonie is effectively at par (99.60 cents US) with the US greenback.

My last hope for the non-restricted black rifle is gonna be on the Beretta ARX-160. Please Beretta, don't try to rape us on that one. If you are wise enough, you will sell your rifles under 2500$ and steal Bushmaster's market in canada.

Keep my fingers crossed!

And btw. With those prices range, the Liberals don't even need to ban semi-automatic black rifles. The prices are so high, nobody can afford them anyway.

yea its true.

whats this about the beretta? i heard on here that they were only for military etc, and not for sale to the general public, was that wrong?

I gotta say im thinking your hopes are extremely high if you think beretta would sell a black rifle at a reasonable price if they ever do release a civy version of the ARX-160. Just look at the price of their shotguns and rifles and i think you will have your answer. the only firearm that beretta sells in canada at a reasonble price would be the 92 inox. which is still alot more then what they pay in the states.

Preordered!

There was an FRT # issued (for the Semi-Auto ACR)... As of this moment that FRT # is No Longer "active" as the RCMP appear to have it under revue..........

Mark

Just a thought. Should have clicked in sooner....

Deposits are being taken on a Rifle that has had it's FRT# 'Withdrawn' by the RCMP.

....just saying........
