Cabelas chinese sks $219.00!

Be prepared to be told they don't have stock. I finally got ahold of someone after leaving my phone on speaker for and hour on hold to be told my order wasn't filled because they have no stock.I also emailed 2 days ago and no reply to that either.Plus they already charged my credit card with no notification of no stock or product being back ordered. If anyone placed an order on or after 04/17/20 around 8:30 pm don't expect to see them.Unless you want to wait for new stock. This will be the last time I ever deal with Cabela's. I've had issues with them on more than one occasion. Their customer service is absolute garbage.

I just got off the phone with them. You were right they are out of stock . I cancelled my order. Should have went with Tenda ...damn!
Je me souviens. I'm taking notes Cabela's .
 
MY guess is anyone who ordered an SKS with the free delivery code was back shelved in favor of those who ordered store pick up to save them paying out the shipping on what stock they had left. I could be wrong but seems strange they showed stock when I ordered it from the warehouse. Modern times their inventory numbers should be fairly accurate? Plus the fact they billed my credit card for a no stock item with not informing me of no stock is sh*tty business practice.
Like I said before. Last time I deal with them.
 
Mine arrived at post office and it was well packaged. Label says it was sold to Cabelas from NORTH SILVA. It is definately a surplus rifle. Stock is a bit beat up but nothing terrible. Only the stock and reciever match but all metal parts in good shape with no rusty bits.Bore is like new.No other bits included in box.Factory 636. Gonna sand the stock and hit it with a few coats of Minwax. I see a vented handguard at Marstar that I will install also.A small project to fiddle with.I already have a cleaning kit and sling and just scored a Tapco mag.

I'm glad to see you received yours. William's Arm's had Tapco mags a few days ago if you need more. They will ship.
 
I called to ask about my order and they said no stock, would have been nice if they had contacted me to tell me that rather than having to call them to find out. Cancelled my order rather than waiting to see if they got more in later like they suggested I do.
 
Sorry to hear you got screwed over to. I hope lots of people read this thread and see the crap company Cabela's/Bass Pro is to deal with. Bass Pro has been in Canada for over 12 years and still has all their pricing in US dollars.I haven't bought anything from them for at least 5 years now. Be nice if they spent some of the millions of dollars they make to update their web site to Canadian currency. No matter to me, neither will see any of my money.
And for those interested their Red Head clothing is made in China.

I would not buy one without seeing. I ealked into a cabelas viewed all 5 of their sks's and they eere rusty, missing parts. And appeared to be the bottom of the barrel in terms of quality surplus. If thats what they send out online then ill pass.

at $190 can't go wrong..rust cleans up and chrome lined
They go bang and you might get a jungle stock

Exactly what Head Damage said. If I didn't phone them a week after I ordered it because I didn't receive a tracking number by then I would have never known they didn't even have stock. No email with a back order notice,nothing. I would think they should have an accurate count on the # of firearms they have in their inventory. There are at least 4 people that I know of who had this done to them.
I'm thinking they may have done me a favor from what a few people have been saying about the ones they viewed in store.
 
I called and was told they were out of stock. Took 2 calls, first time the guy said they are probably busy, called back and was told they were out of stock so I canceled
