Just the few basic tools found at the top of the page 1 thread on the clinic tools. I'm bringing syringes for sale $ 2.00 and that includes the grease. I'll bring shim sheets for you to make your own shims... Nothing like sacrificing some blood (hope you ain't HIV Positive  ) to accurize your own M14.

I will bring all the M14 specific tools. Some of you might bring your own pin punch collection. I'll add more tools as I begin to think of them. If we are re-barreling, I've got the vise jaw blocks.

Can someone bring their receiver wrench or 1 3/4" Princess Auto $ 15ish big humungous wrench ? :D

will come with full set headspace guages
bolt lapping tool
chamber reamer
gas assembly unitizing jig.... you guys will seriously love this ;)
bench vice
barrel vice with jaw set for standard barrel
barrel vice for medium and heavy barrels
reciever wrench or two
firing pin protrusion and hole guages
kunhaussen manual
scott duff manual
the list goes on :D

We will have access to the rifle range conditions apply ,However they will inspect all ammunition to be shoot on there range IE no NORINCO Ball Ammunition or any other steel jacketed or AP ammunition is permitted it causes premature wear on the back stops. We also have access to the shop facilities including the mig welder .How ever no use of the lathes or the mills which is understandable

Hungry, you promissed an "Advanced" clinic as well. Timing, bbl changing, etc. Do you have in plan to stay two days and maybe...... just maybe.....

Frankly, the advanced clinic would appeal to a very few people, but then again while I was in Edmonton on 08 Nov 2008, the clinic that Sosa hosted... we did 6 barrel swaps (I lost count after 5) I think...

AND we bedded one rifle.

I've observed that in the past 6 years of doing clinics now, the people ready for advanced lessons end up coming to me anyways for private lessons, and AWAY the went with their new backgrounds! They are off to the races!!

Barney

Can we do some parkarizing at this clinic? I'm down to two projects now.

1. Unitize my gas cylinder.

2. Match up the park on my gas cylinder to my BBL.

? YES/NO, What do I need to bring?

The tig welder is a joke (read: rub into Ontario M14's faces because welder rig service trucks abound in Alberta) from the Edmonton Sosa hosted, clinic last 08 Nov 2008. :D

....
I'm a Journeyman Welder with two years of GTAW (Tig) experience on aluminium and a few months of stainless...

;)

MLP: That's super to have a welder attending, but can anyone bring a welding truck/rig along to the clinic? That's the key! Too heavy for me to fly with, besides, I don't have access to one.

who need a ride

anybody in the fernie area or the crowsnest pass that want to ride pm me. i can bring a mig welder also .

Bring the MIG welder and we can see what is around the shop to set up and play. I know that we have a large vise so that we can rebarrel/ re-index if need be.

INdexing a barrel is about 4 minutes to do.... about 3 min to set up and 60 sec to do the actual job! No joking!!

2 Vises? Yahoooo! I'm bringing my vise jaw blocks.
