Interesting thread
So many of these threads have been locked and deleted without me being able to post, let’s see if I can put this In Before The Lock.
To be clear, Swiss Arms never produced any such report. It was generated by the complainant and submitted under his signature. Note that this "report" has never been made public, and has been kept carefully concealed from the public throughout this event.
No the report is simply a means to deflect. It says that even though the two rifles are exactly the same one was at one point touched by a 540 mandrel and is therefore a 540 variant. The RCMP forensics lab rejected this opinion as they quite rightly concluded that it is the end state of the manufacture that counts not the process. If it was submitted to the RCMP, then it is in public domain. Sounds like even the horribly redacted copy you get from a Freedom of Information request would put any question of motive and blame to rest.
So you are saying SIG bull####ted to sell rifles? I guess I am all confused because that's what I said but you said I am wrong.
Swiss Arms would have had no idea what the RCMP would have wanted. They would have had to have been coached. All of the rifles in question were PE90 rifles. FWIW there is no PE90 FRT. The only place where you can find a PE90 in the FRT is as AKA of Classic Green. This seems to suggest that even the RCMP knew the rifles were PE90s.So you are saying SIG bull####ted to sell rifles? Mr Cox appears to be a rat. When people like him go to jail they have to live with Child Molestors and rapists. I won’t financially give my money to those types of people so I won’t be purchasing from his store.
Board rules frown on inter dealer disputes so there is not much we can say here. We posted all of the source documents we could find on our website and have summarized them as well as used them to outline the sequence of events. We don’t claim to have all of the answers or documents but what is there is pretty conclusive and probably answers your questions.
We are currently working on Swiss Arms to provide some more historical details. In the past they were concerned that their doing so could cause a prohibition but that concern seems moot now so maybe we will get more from them in the near future.
CZ was Wolverine fail for not checking the guns. They do allegedly look like converted.
I think you mixed stores up. The shooting edge was greedy the shooting center did nothing.
I recommend you read the info at the link. Dealers import products for sale. Equating our conduct of legitimate business with some type of illegal or immoral activity is facile and incorrect.NO, your greed caused the prohibition.
