as some already said a 458 win mag.

you can also rebored a 375 ruger in 458 win mag ... i was tempted to do that up to the the time i got my lefty 458 win in zastava for a deal i cant let go ....

yes a 404 ruger can be a very good option ...

have you noticed that you want a good magnum but not the full lenght one .... a very clever man i will say ...
 
^ I think Zastava fullstock is the only .458 I will buy. No comparisons for the price, and all the dollar/job market is not good enough for expensive projects. It will keep the velocity reasonable with it's short barrel for Canada.

.458 cal bullet also seem to be the way to go.

It will go well with my .338 WM T3 lite w. receiver sites for a 2.5 inch "anywhere in the world" combo.
