Canadian Made Swiss Arms AR Lower

5 samples are off the machines this week and will be going out to beta testers. We are still aiming to have finished product ready before year end.

In the new year we may take a crack at an affordable quad rail. If we cant bring it to market for under $350 we wont bother.

Like the guys that posted in the other thread, make a continuous top rail that uses the factory top rail mount to free float and attach a bottom rail to that.

Once you get lowers rolling, you may want to try an extruded upper - complete with rail. Use a jam nut type bbl nut like we do on the URX to retain the barrel.

Not sure but I think MikeH may be able to design this for you pretty quick ;)

Thanks got the info
Ok, so with enough PM's in & interest from a 3rd party we're going to give this a go with NEA.

The Lower will be based on the SIG 556 lower and will accept AR mags and use a AR mag release. We will be redesigning some aspects of the receiver that based on my experience with this part should make it stand out a bit.

Basic Specs -

- Will require the end-user to swap the trigger group and pistol grip (cost savings, we'll look at SA parts kits, but they're REAL expensive)
- Will include AR mag release
- Will accept AR stocks

Now for your part.. any requests? Keep in mind that they'll likely be limited to cosmetic or ergonomic changes.

On the machines this week. Coming to Target Sports and Shooting Edge this fall.

Is this an old render?

I just noticed there is no flare or chamfer for the inside of the magazine well. A number of the exterior lines of the lower do not appear to have smoothed edges.

Other than that, it looks really good. Now I have to decide which I want more... a RFB or the SAN Carbine and an NEA lower....

Spent the whole day sitting in a chair with our engineer staring at a bank of monitors, and fondling this..................

What is it?????

Good question, what you are looking at is a self centering 5 axis holder for the lowers.............. and its worth more then a brand new swiss rifle.

The swiss lower is one of 4 new projects set to be launched before Christmas.

Seams like you got to take a trip out hear to the "Wet Coast" Charles Martel cuz my uncle has got something that will give ya a heart attack over.
*A little hint...
Only three of them in the Country*

;)
P.S. Less talking and more working cuz I WANT MY 556 LOWER!!!
