CanAm: What about bringing in some other kinds of ammo?

Hmmm, with regard to the lack of .303+30-06 ball, PMC (Korea) makes both in an economy line (the 'camoflage' boxes I seem to remember) but even though they are approved I haven't seen any in years, is this a possible source for a solution.

I thin Norinco DOES make it, along with most of the other calibers we love. Ever wonder why we don't see Norinco 7.62x39 anymore? It's because there are importation problem at ports on the Pacific rim.

A ship would have to circumnavigate the globe and offload in Halifax to get that ammo these days. Considering the costs, I sincerely doubt any importer is going to go that route.

Why don't the Pacific ports accept ammo shipments?

PMC no longer makes much ammo for commercial export at the Korean plants. They are busy making 5.56 and 12.7 for the US military.

They did print a catalogue of new products for the SHOT Show, but who know if it shows up.

I've never heard this before, and our house is in the shipping logistics industry.

Pretty much what info I'm getting these days is have you cash in hand, and make damn sure your paper work is in order.
Then there is always Europe (east and west), and they have LOTS of surplus, and new ammo, but once again have a large bankroll ready.

Damn they don't any longer?.
I still have about 100 PMC 7.62X39 soft points.
They're great for hunting, but that is truly a dissapointment.

Even the US website hasn't been updated for 3 years. They sold a wack of plant equipment to Jamison to begin their ammo project. I believe most of it was bought from CIL in the first place.
