Canpar package not delivered missing in transit - Updated!!

Hey Canada Ammo quick question.

Canpar seems to have misplaced the two pistols from my .45 and ammo deal. I received the ammo yesterday but the package with the two pistols is showing as in limbo in Calgary a call to Canpar this morning had a Canpar rep tell me they would get back to me but nothing as of 3:45pm today. Tried calling but only goes to voice message telling me you are too busy to answer. I have sent a form email on your site.

To other board members have you had this occur and how was it resolved?

New development, Canpar has had to open a missing item claim. I have had ZERO success trying to contact Canada Ammo representatives on their website or by phone. If someone from Canada Ammo could PM me I would appreciate it!

first step is to hear back from canpar.. they will try to track in down and get it sorted.. not much Canada ammo can do at the moment until canpar investigates.
 
Many delivery companies are facing huge backlogs because of the holidays, and the delivery companies unload trucks in the order they come in. It sucks, but it comes with the territory.
 
I ordered something off of Ebay (through the horrible Global Shipping Program) and from the 17th of Nov it says: 2013/11/17 14:57 VANCOUVER Electronic information submitted by shipper. Learn More The shipper has created a shipping label for this item and has sent us electronic information. However, if no additional updates are showing in Track, it means we have not yet received the item. We will start tracking the item once it is provided to us.

I guess it's never coming, which is good because I got a refund. I wonder if it will actually one day show up though? :confused:

Yep Canpar handles firearms.

The first order came to me complete via Canpar pistols and ammo, this order for two combos shipped from Canada Ammo complete the firearms got heldup/lost in Calgary somehow.

Pretty sure this will workout just frustrating.

Give them few days. My combo got delayed for few days without any updates or notice from Canpar. Useless tracking system.
 
I had a mix-up with mine, saying it was returned to shipper. Within a couple of days, all was sorted out and delivered.

yeah, normally ammo and firearm arrive separately, you cant trust the tracking either with most delivery company.
i wish you good luck.

hahaha, thank you Otilram, I am sure it will work out was only worried and posting here helped drop the concern level.

Thanks Tommycanada, I needed to vent a bit and hear back from the community on thier experiences via misplaced or missed delivery items. I am reasonably sure this will work out fine as I am certain Canada Ammo has them insured for instances like this.

Don't worry... you will get them in a day or two. Its the second package that creates the confusion!!!
