Canpar package not delivered missing in transit - Updated!!

Hopefully Canada Ammo will ship you two more before long.

Except two pistols now registered to the guy are now lost and who knows where? Better call the Police if they don't show up soon.

Canpar left my combo on my front porch. I wasn't home until 3AM. I was not impressed. Delivery guy even did a fake signature and spelled my name wrong.

New development, Canpar has had to open a missing item claim. I have had ZERO success trying to contact Canada Ammo representatives on their website or by phone. If someone from Canada Ammo could PM me I would appreciate it!

Regards,

Izzit

Ugh, I just picked up my two crates of ammo (2/3 packages on canpar slip) yesterday and the box with the two 45's was no where to be found...hopefully I don't have the same luck as you

I think the process now is a waiting game with Canpar needing time to complete its own internal tracing/tracking.

I will let the process complete with the shipping company first then provide the details to the police. Wow fake signature is worrisome.

I hope you do not have that problem as well, it sucks.

Contacted the RCMP CFC who recommended waiting for confirmation that the firearms are lost before initiating a file, it was mentioned that I could file a report but until there is confirmation from the shipping agency that they are lost it was premature.

Now its the waiting game, hopefully canpar can find your new toys so you don't have to make a report

Gee I'm glad the vancouver canpar has decent staff then. (in my experience)
I wasn't home for my ammo so they left a slip, even wrote "needs signature in person" on the comment section.
I'm having it held for pickup.

I hope who had the guy sign and forge their signature took the time to call head office and get his ass fired.

Miising gun

I had the same problem with another company a few years back, I screwed around for a couple of weeks with no joy. In the end I called them up and told them they had until 4 pm the next day to have it in my hands or I was going to call the RCMP to report that the company had lost my handgun.

Magically it appeared in my hands at 345 with driver telling me that I had to sign for it.

Seems they don't want the RCMP looking into their business.

I think CanPar is a joke. I purposely took a work from home day to accept my CanAm deal a few months ago. I was sitting 15 feet from the door and just happened to login to the canpar tracking site to get the status of the shipment. Not even 5 minutes before the driver had updated that no one was home. I went to the door and found the attempted delivery slip. He never rang the door bell or knocked. I raised holy hell with them over the phone. They said the driver confirmed he rang the door bell and was too far away to come back. I ended up sending an email to the higher ups listed on their site and never heard a thing. Had to trek across the city to get my stuff.

From what I have seen on the web, it's not uncommon for the drivers to do this. I wish I had video of the driver doing it to send them proof.

^^^this
Every godda*m time I order anything and its coming from canpar they never buzz.
I live in a condo all they have to do is buzz my name it's right there, match it to the package label and press 3 buttons
But no I get the same treatment they show up leave a slip saying I'm not home when they don't even try and leave
Than I get to drive 1 h to the depot to pick it up 1 h home
##### canpar

I found Can-Par tends to ship these items a few days apart sometimes.Canada Ammo will occasionally use Canada Post and Can-Par at the same time,at least that has been my experiance..

In Canpar's defense, the driver for my CanAm purchase took the elevator up to knock on my front door, since I have no buzzer. I wasn't home, so the slip was left on my door. He went above and beyond. When I got home I drove 5 mins to the depot and got my package.

Lucky you. 1 guy that's not a idiot the rest of us are not so lucky

The last three parcels I had delivered by Canpar showed up as arriving at the depot.
After a couple days I phoned and ask why they weren't being delivered the next day they were delivered.
The last one 100 405 grain 45-70 bullets about 7 Lbs was left on my door step. I couldn't believe some one would do that.
My wife had a very risky back surgery to correct here scoliosis, the result was nothing short of a miracle.
If she had tripped over the parcel the consequences could have been very grim.
