Canuck Operator Elite (M4 clone)...

I picked up one of those RA 28" barrels from SFRC for $150, now, it's a sample of 1, exterior finish is better then the HG one I bought, thick ceracote type, but the rest of it is pretty messy, lots of file and grind marks, burrs and sharp edges, threaded piston plugs were threaded like ####...very rough/corse, both gas rings were destroyed (I have spares so no biggie), interior of cylinders very rough despite this thing seeing many rounds, bore filthy with lots of firing residue so not the smoothest chrome lining, choke tube honing is too wide, there is a distinct lip where bore meets the choke tube, and while it fits fine on the HG action without the handguards, it won't fit on it with the handguards, there is some rough casting where the top of the handguard slides in that will need some sanding.
So I'm more into the HG for quality at this point.

The O'Dell Imported cturkiah close is juat a rebranded aksr S4 same as revolutionary armoury, federation arms And a few others.
This is the only one to get the rest are c**p.
From an importer point of view they the most expensive one, but also the best built and very close spec to a real M4.
I've been working on the Turkish clones since they first come out.
So now,it comes down to customer service and parts.

O,dell is,likely best for customer service and parts.

That's aid I hVe boxes,on,small parts and new take off parts from dead guns

Just wondering if you know of any Dealers in Canada selling Panzer - I live an hour West of Toronto.… I am trying to source and price the following as 12 ga. Semi-Automatic, 5+1, 18.5” Barrel:
- M4 Speed Pro
- M4 Marine Tactical
- EG-240

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Panzerxis just a brand used to import into the USA.
It's thr same S4 gun that O'Dell, federation, rev arms all rebrand.
It's the better of the M4 clones

Any take off black plastic handguards around for sale? I need a set to modify a bit to get this 28" RA barrel to fit, distance is too short on this one.

Thanks for the reply - I have contacted Panzer Arms USA to see if they can also provide some additional info - as it relates to Canada - I have seen some with the name Panzer engraved into the side and if possible I’d prefer to buy one of those… the other thing that I also want to do is avoid situations where because of the rebranding, the gun changes hands several more times (than necessary?) and different people work on the gun along the way… trying to minimize the number of ways things can go wrong….

That all sounds good.
But Panzer has no status in Canada.
So I'd suggest you buy the same gun from one of the brands i listed.
O,dell engineering aka Canuck brand is probably your best bet for service and warranty.

You are over thinking it. Listen to the BadBoy, he knows what he is talking about.

Sure. It's not thath guns are made in Turkey per se, it's the quality control. CANiK make awesome pistols, and have awesome quality control.
I'm sure Beretta has a factory there, that has high quality control.

Are the receiver threads the same on the Canuck operator Elite as The real deal Benelli,Can you put a Benelli mag on it?Can you put a benelli recoil tube on it?Dave

I finally threw my wood stock set on my RevArms Turknelli. Took a bit of fitting to get the hangduard on but they look great. I'll post some pics soon.
In the process I managed to lose the cap for the collapsible stock recoil tube. Rookie mistake... If anyone knows where I can source a new one, please let me know.

For under 1k they run well, not sure how they would be after a few thousand shells. There’s a few burn down videos of the other m4 clones being run and they are not a good look but you also can’t expect real m4 quality when you don’t want to pay the price
But in saying all this the 1301 is where it’s at, it’s faster, lighter, and controls are way better then anything that comes on a m4 without spending more money to “upgrade” them. Most guys who run m4’s these days have watched the John wick movies too many times and show up to the range decked out in military gear with their beer guts hanging out the bottom on the plate carrier I

I resemble that remark!

The 500 round burn downs were interesting, but they literally take the shotgun out of the box and try and fire 500 rounds through it.
They come packed in ####ty preservation oil, it's thick as hell, they all need a good clean and lube then go run the 500 rounds and see what happens.
Like an SKS, one of the most durable and reliable designs, come packed in ####, you couldn't get 10 rounds through one of those if you didn't clean it and lube it up first lol

I owned a Canuck version of the m4 and ran a couple hundred mixed shells through it and seemed ok, over time I realized stop wasting money on clones of something you want and just go for the real thing. I had a choice between a m4 and a 1301 and went 1301. Both great shotguns but the weight and controls of the 1301 were much better then the m4
