I decided it was time for us lead lovers to have an UNDERTHEGUN inspired challenge of our own.
The challenge will be 1 ten shot group at 100 yards. Shot from a bench using only cast ammunition.
In the spirit of letting everybody play I'm going to have two different classes. So I'm looking for a
1.25" 10 shot group at 100 yards with a scoped rifle
2.5" 10 shot group at 100 yards using iron sights
Any caliber, any rifle, muzzle loaders can play too. You must cast and load the ammunition yourself.
Gas checks allowed
Only 1 ten shot group on the paper with nothing able to cover fliers.
Target must be shot after this challenge was posted.
Groups will be measured from outside edge to outside edge then subtract the diameter of the boolit. Must post a picture of the target with caliper measuring it. Date the target and write the group size on the target and caption the picture with the group size when you post it.

Must post picture of rifle, rest and ammunition used.
I would also like to see guys posting load information and what type of lead was used.
Since casting is heavily about saving money. Posting a price per round would be nice too.
The idea is to not just show case our toys and accomplishments. But also allow people to review what has worked for others so they can get good results too!
Happy shooting!
Jeremy
