Why so weighted towards shotgun and pistol? Just curious.
Also, well, I suck more with the shotgun (reloads drag me down) than with the pistol or rifle. (I suck with the pistol and rifle, just not as much as with the shotgun).
Course flow..... if there is such a thing
Shotgun and pistol gets favoured because we can shoot steel targets..... means resetting the stage is significantly faster. (Unlike having to walk to the end of the rifle bay to patch targets) When we switch to Milo we should be able to start using steel for rifle which will boost up the round counts again.
Also we open up the 5 stand range and shoot up there... but we can ONLY shoot shotgun there so that pads the numbers.
If anyone has a good idea for upping the counts but maintain the general flow of the match I am all ears.

More use of clays for the rifle down range. Maybe we can use specific holders so they don't need to be on the paper target backers?
Fair enough, was mostly just curious.
And it does motivate me to start "sucking less" at feeding the shotgun.
And YOU of all people Beltfed..... have yet to shoot a single match this year with us
(Im not #####in' just teasin')
And that is part of the courses we run at CDTSA. We don't want to be cookie cutter or "normal". We want to do the things we don't normally get a chance to do. And we want to get better at the things we suck at. So we will be seeing you on SUN?
(If you help setup on Saturday it will give you a sneak peak at the CoF)
What time is setup time today? Here now and nobody's here.
Great Match as usual. Perfect weather. Good turnout. Everyone helped. Shotgun stage was a hoot. Didn't do great but had a lot of fun which for me is what its all about. Met a few new people. Congrats again guys for a job well done. Got to get a scope for my AR.
